OSAH105 Introduction to Workplace Safety
This course provides an overview of the concerns and issues related to occupational safety and health. It will introduce the 1970 Occupational Safety and Health Act and associated regulations and standards. Discussion will include the impacts of workplace safety and health efforts related to employer requirements to provide a safe and healthy workplace. Hazards identification and mitigation are included in the discussion as regulatory compliance is explored within organizational policies and procedures.
