INDS165 Kitchen and Lighting Design

This class focuses on the investigation of kitchen design through aesthetics, materials, and ergonomic considerations. Through space analysis, students learn kitchen programming and planningDesign projects are inclusive of kitchen layouts, kitchen materials, cabinetry, and fixturesDiscussions include lighting design as it relates to kitchens, furniture, cabinetry design and space planning as it relates to the kitchen environment.  Offered fall semester only.
