BIOS230 Field Botany

This course provides an overview of plant groups, emphasizing the terrestrial flora of eastern Pennsylvania. The lecture portion of the course will cover concepts in plant morph morphology and adaptations, ecological relationships, evolutionary history, and conservation. Laboratory sessions will include a number of field trips to local sites of interest and will focus on species identification and animal survey methods.
