CADM205 Computer Aided Design II

This is the second of three courses that explores the Autodesk AutoCAD software. This course introduces the advanced elements of 2D computer-aided drawing and editing as well as the basic 3D elements of AutoCAD. Concepts of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, symbol libraries, attributes, script files, viewports and utilizing externally referenced files will be covered. 3-D wireframe and solid modeling commands are covered as well as an introduction to 3D modeling techniques. Completion of this course will prepare the student to take the Autodesk AutoCAD User certification test. Formerly ENGG261.
