PHIL215 Modern Philosophy

This course is a survey of major Modern Western Philosophical traditions, texts, and thinkers, emphasizing Continental Rationalism and British Empiricism and ending with Kant. Course themes include perspectives on the nature of reality, knowledge, the relationship between mind and body, and the limits and possibilities of human reason.  Core AH.
