Student Rights and Responsibilities

A student has the right to pursue an education in an environment that is conducive to the free flow of information and ideas. At Northampton Community College, a student is encouraged to express him or herself through speech and actions and to actively participate in decisions affecting the educational process of the College. With rights come responsibilities. A student has the responsibility to realize that his or her actions must not interfere with the College's function as an educational institution and with the rights of others.
