BUSA272 Finance/Applied Investment Management
This course is an introduction to the nature of the finance function: risk and return concepts, working capital, dividend policies, mergers, security markets, acquisition and management of corporate capital, analysis of operations, forecasting capital requirements, raising capital and planning profits. Students will be able to manage a portfolio of debt and equity securities with the goal of providing an above average, risk-adjusted return.
