Web Design I is an introduction to website design and development with industry standard software and basic use of HTML (Hypertext Markup Language), CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), JavaScript, and image optimization. This course addresses best practices in current web design, web standards, and web publishing. Finally, students will discuss web design careers and freelance design opportunities.
